Lexus LF LC Coupe Concept

 »  »  »

Lexus released today the first full pictures of the new LF-LC coupe concept, which will have its world debut at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit next month. Unfortunately, the Japanese carmaker did not disclose any additional information regarding their new concept. What we know so far is that the Lexus LF-LC previews the brand's future design language. This basically means that all future Lexus models will resemble the LF-LC concept. Lexus says that the LF-LC features several organic shapes, which aim to achieve a closer connection between the driver and the car. The LF-LC was designed in Lexus’s Calty studio, which is located in Newport Beach, California.

Even though Lexus is still keeping all the details of the LF-LC a secret, the image they released today tells part of the story. For starters, we now know that the LF-LC is a four-seat coupe, or as the company calls it - a 2+2. This basically means that there's not much space in the back. The LF-LC is equipped with huge brakes featuring ventilated discs, which might also be carbon ceramic, and a full length panoramic glass roof.

We'll have more details on the Lexus LF-LC concept as soon the as carmaker makes them available.
