The Lexus LF-CC concept had its world debut yesterday, at the opening of the 2012 Paris motor show. The Lexus LF-CC previews a future mid-size coupe equipped with a hybrid powertrain. The LF-CC measures 4,660 mm in length, 1,375 mm in height, 1,840 mm in width and it has a 2,730 mm wheelbase. The LF-CC takes Lexus's L-finesse design language one step further, as it features a more dominant spindle grille. The LF-CC comes with LED headlights, each having three lamps, LED DRLs integrated into the front bumper, wide front wings, and 3D-shaped rear lights. The LF-CC presented by Lexus is Paris features a Fluid Titanium metallic color. The interior of the LF-CC shows that Lexus has further developed its HMI (human-machine interface) technology. Its dashboard is divided in two sections: an upper Display Zone, with a multi-display screen, and a lower Operation Zone.

The Lexus LF-CC is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder DOHC petrol engine, which works in conjunction with an electric motor. Apart from those two, the LF-CC's powertrain also features a generator, a high-performance Nickel-Metal Hydride battery; a power split device and compact power control unit. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an E-CVT transmission. Lexus aims to build the LF-CC so that it emits less than 100g/km of CO2.
