Lexus revealed today the new RC coupe at the 2013 Tokyo auto show. The 2014 Lexus RC is 4,695mm long, 1,840mm wide and 1,395mm high. It has a 2,730mm long wheelbase. Lexus is going to sell the RC in two versions. The Lexus RC350 is powered by a dual-injection 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that develops 314 hp (234 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 380 Nm of torque 4,800 rpm. The RC350 is equipped with an 8-speed sequential transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. The Lexus RC300h is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a 141bhp (105kW) electric motor. Lexus rates the RC300H with an output of 176 hp (131 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm of torque at 4,200 – 4,800 rpm. The RC300h comes with an electronic continuously variable transmission (E-CVT).

In comparison to the IS, the Lexus RC is 30mm wider, 35mm lower and 70mm shorter in the wheelbase. It comes with the new three-lamp LED configuration, and 10-spoke 19-inch wheels or five-spoke 18-inch ones.

The 2014 Lexus RC comes equipped with Blind Spot Monitor, and the Remote Touch Interface controller. The Lexus RC's price and availability are going to be announced at a later date.
