Lexus revealed recently the new RC F GT500 race car, with which they will compete in the 2014 Super GT racing series. Unfortunately, apart from this images and the video, Lexus did not disclose any specifications not technical details about the RC F GT500. The production car, on which the Lexus RC F GT500 is based on, it's powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces 450 bhp and 518 Nm of torque. The RC F is able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph (just under 100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 270 km/h. However, the Lexus RC F GT500 is much lighter than the road legal version of the model. Even with the same engine and horsepower output, it should be a lot faster that RC F. In addition, the Lexus RC F GT500 could have more power too.

In comparison to the standard car, the Lexus RCF GT500 comes with a wide body kit, front and rear spoilers, splitters and fins, a rear diffuser, a huge rear wing, and various new vents for cooling the engine bay and the brakes. Its exhaust comes out of the side of the car. The interior of the RC F GT500 is probably equipped with all the racing paraphernalia you can think of. We'll have more details about the RC F GT500 as soon as Lexus makes them available.
