Lexus GS 350 F Sport Safety Car

Lexus announced today that the GS 350 F Sport is going to be used as a safety car this weekend, for the Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek. Apart from being a safety vehicle, this particular Lexus GS 350 F Sport will be used for driver training and other activities too. Lexus' GS 350 is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, which puts out 233 kW. This is enough to take the four-door sedan from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just six seconds. This safety car seems pretty much identical to a production GS 350 F Sport. Apart from the lights mounted on its roof, and the fancy livery, the car seems stock. There is no visible roll cage, nor other mods we usually see on these types of vehicles.

Lexus equipped their new GS 350 F Sport safety car with Dynamic Handling System (LDHS), which includes Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS), and Adaptive variable Suspension (AVS).
