The Lexus GS F Sport was unveiled today, ahead of its world premiere at the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The sportier version of the Lexus GS comes with various visual enhancements and handling improving updates, but sadly, there's no power output increase. Lexus' GS F Sport is equipped with a new aerodynamics package, which give it a more aggressive look. It's front bumper has been replaced by a re-designed one, with larger side vents and new mesh grilles. At the rear, the GS F Sport receives a new bumper, with an integrated diffuser, a discreet boot lid spoiler and some chromed styling accents. Even though Lexus did not release a clear image of the GS F Sport's rear, we can tell it has a more performance-inspired look. The Lexus GS F-Sport is finished in metallic grey.

The Lexus GS F-Sport sits on 19-inch alloys, with a dark metallic finish, which are covered by 235/40/19 tires at the front and 265/35/19 tires at the rear. For improved stopping power, the GS F Sport is equipped with 356 x 30mm ventilated front brake discs, and special two-piece rotors with an aluminum hat section.

For the interior of the GS F Sport, Lexus chose a new upholstery, in a deep red color (Garnet) which will be exclusive to this model.

The F-Sport Lexus GS will be fitted with adjustable sport front seats, a black headliner and pillar finish, aluminum trim parts (including pedals), and a dimple perforated leather steering wheel and gear knob. For that extra styling touch, the F Sport GS is equipped with special door sills bearing the model's logo.

The Lexus GS F Sport will have three driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport S and Sport S+. We guess you know what the first three are for. The Sport S+ just gives you more of the Sport S meaning better throttle response, a stiffer suspension and improved handling. The Lexus GS F Sport is equipped with several computer coordinated driver aids, including the AVS, Electric Power Steering, Dynamic Handling system, Variable Gear Ratio Steering and Dynamic Rear Steering.

The Dynamic Handling system makes the Lexus GS F-Sport the first hybrid on the market to feature four-wheel steering. This technology offers the GS F Sport better handling and increased cornering speeds. Below the 50 mph (80 km/h) mark, the Dynamic Handling system makes the wheels of the GS F Sport turn in opposite direction. However, at high speeds and in certain conditions, the same system makes the wheels turn in the same direction to keep the vehicle under your control.

The Lexus GS F Sport also has a new suspension setup. It features re-tuned front and rear shock absorbers, which are now inclined further to the rear, and larger and stiffer lower bushings. The GS F Sport has two settings for the dampers, Normal and Sport S+.

The price and availability of Lexus' new high-performance sedan will be announced at a later date. The Lexus GS F Sport will be premiered on November 1st, 2011. Until the, watch it in action in the video lower down this page.
