Lexus announced the Lexus GS line price for the Australian market. The Lexus GS Australian price starts at $96,900 RRP for the Lexus GS 300 and goes as high as $134,900 RRP for the Lexus GS 460.

Lexus Press Release:

The debut of the updated GS Line and the introduction of the all-new GS 460 will see Lexus buyers benefit from new pricing and increased specification.

The volume-selling GS Sports Luxury benefits from added specification and a price reduction of almost six per cent to $105,900 RRP*,

while GS 300 Sports will now retail for $96,900 RRP.

All GS 300 models will now receive Lexus' Adaptive Variable Suspension, premium leather and Lexus' unique VDIM stability system.

New GS 460, due in showrooms in March, will retail for $134,900 RRP - a price advantage of almost two per cent over the superseded GS 430.

GS 460 will also feature Lexus' unique eight-speed automatic transmission - delivering greater performance and economy.

GS 450h will retain its pricing position between GS 300 and GS 460 - on the basis of engine size - retailing for $124,900 RRP.

Electrically operated moonroof remains a $2,500 RRP option on GS 300 Sports and a delete option on other GS models.

Lexus Australia chief executive John Roca said that the new GS Line pricing brought with it

greater affordability, while increasing specification across the range.

"The additional specification and the revised styling will make the GS Line more attractive to luxury vehicle buyers," Mr Roca said.

"In fact, the pricing revisions reflect the importance of GS 300 Sports Luxury and new GS 460 in our vehicle line-up.

"Across the board, Lexus has either reduced price or increased specification, while our hybrids continue to represent outstanding value," he said.

*Recommended retail prices exclude dealer delivery, government and statutory charges and optional extras.
