1966 Chevrolet Chevelle by Ringbrothers with 980 hp

 »  »  »

Ringbrothers presented at this year's SEMA show this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, which packs no less than 980 hp! The power comes from a Wegner Motorsports Inc. LS7 engine with an RHS block and head. Ringbrothers supped up this engine using a Whipple twin-screw supercharger, a Meziere intercooler pump, a Holley fuel injection system and a bespoke Tremec transmission by Bowler. The list of modifications is endless, so we'll just talk about its highlights. Ringbrothers' '66 Chevy Chevelle is fitted with Baer high-performance brakes, a custom Flowmaster exhaust system, AFCO shocks, and a Roadster Shop suspension. We're sure you’re wondering about its wheels and tires. The 19-inch front and 20x13 inch rear wheels come from HRE/Ringbrothers Recoil and the tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

For the interior of their '66 Chevelle Ringbrothers built their own custom seats. They also installed a Classic Instruments boost gauge, and a Racepak gauge cluster. Ringbrothers also gave their '66 Chevelle a Pioneer head unit and Kicker speakers and amplifier.

Unfortunately, Ringbrothers did not disclose the price of their 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, which they call the "Recoil". Its 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) and its top speed have not been announced either.
