The power masters from Hennessey revealed today a new performance upgrade kit for the Chevrolet Camaro, called the HPE700. The Hennessey Chevrolet Camaro HPE700 powerkit increases the output of the muscle car from 432 hp to a massive 700hp at 6,200rpm and 850Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. However, this is not the most Hennessey has to offer. Their HPE1000 power kit increases the output of the Chevy Camaro to a staggering 1,015 hp at 6,000rpm and 1,350Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The HPE700 Camaro comes equipped with a new supercharger kit (including pulley and intake), gasflowed cylinder heads, heavy duty valve springs, titanium followers, and an upgraded timing chain. The HPE700 powerkit for also includes high-lift camshafts, a Stage 3 intercooler and heat exchanger, a high flow intake system with a racing filter, and an upgraded fuel injection system with Stage 3 injectors.
To top it off, Hennessey equips the Chevy Camaro HPE700 with a reprogrammed ECU, a new fuelling system with an upgraded pump and pipes, and a stainless-steel cat-back sport exhaust system.
Apart from the new power kit, the Hennessey Chevrolet Camaro HPE700 comes with several other upgrades too. These include a fully adjustable suspension, racing brakes with 8-piston calipers and 400mm cross-drilled, vented discs.
As a result of these modifications, the Hennessey Chevrolet Camaro HPE700 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds and from ought to 200 km/h in 10.1 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 200 mph (320 km/h). The price of these mods has not been announced yet.
