General Motor revealed this week the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, which is going to arrive in showrooms early next year. One of the key highlights of the new Chevy Camaro Convertible (2016), apart from its amazing exterior design, is the fact that its roof can be opened and closed at speeds of up to 30 mph. The innovative soft-top of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is fully automatic. It features latches that automatically release and secure it. Chevrolet says that this new top can be operated remotely through the Camaro's key fob. The 2016 Camaro Convertible also features a newly designed hard tonneau cover that deploys automatically. Apart from convenience, this new tonneau also offers the car a more refined appearance.
The new electro-hydraulic power roof of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible features a multilayer construction, which includes both acoustic and thermal insulation.
In comparison to the previous generation of the Camaro Convertible, the 2016 version is a full 200 pounds lighter. This means it handles better and that it is also more efficient. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is going to be sold in two trim levels, LT and SS, and it is going to be available with six powertrains. This is the most powerful Camaro SS Convertible ever built by GM. Chevrolet is going to sell the 2016 Camaro Convertible with a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. At the interior, the new Camaro Convertible (2016) features a redesigned Driver Mode Selector, configurable instrument cluster and customizable ambient lighting. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible's price is going to be announced at a later date.
