Chevrolet launched today the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition is a full size vehicle, not a toy, and it will go on sale early next year. Its price has not been announced yet. The Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels comes with a special aero package, which includes the same rear spoiler and front upper grille as the ZR1, a new front splitter and rocker treatment. The Camaro Hot Wheels sits on black 20-inch wheels and it features a two-tone matte bonnet graphic and a rear taillight panel "blackout" graphic. You can't have a special Hot Wheels edition without fender flames, and the company's logos. The Hot Wheels Chevy Camaro is going to be available with a Kinetic Blue exterior only.
It will be available as a V8 coupe, with a choice between an automatic and a manual transmission. The 6.5-liter V8 engine in the automatic version of the Hot Wheels Camaro develops 405 hp (298 kW) and 556 Nm of torque, while the manual one outputs 432 hp (318 kW) and 569 Nm of torque. The automatic comes with Active Fuel Management.
The interior of the Camaro Hot Wheels features various logos and flame decals, a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity.
UPDATE: Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition's price for the UK market was set at £40,020 GBP for the Coupe Manual and at £41,520 GBP for Coupe Automatic.
