Vauxhall has unveiled recently the new 2010 Vauxhall Astra police car at the UK Home Office exhibition. The company however, did not release any information regarding the new 2010 Vauxhall Astra police car. The vehicle wears the full Metropolitan Police livery and apparently "the very latest in high tech equipment".
The 2010 Vauxhall Astra police car was previewed at an event held by the British Association of Chief Police Officers Intelligent Transportations Systems Working Group (ACPO ITS). The event focuses on the latest security equipment for law enforcement and public security. The 2010 Vauxhall Astra police car was displayed alongside other equipment specialized for such areas as Crime and Policing, Security and Counter Terrorism, Identity Management and Border Security.
