Renault has announced today the 2011 Renault Megane CC UK price and specifications. Apart from the 2011 Renault Megane CC UK price and specs, the company has also announced that the new model will become available in British showrooms from July, 9th, this year. The 2011 Renault Megane CC will be made available in two versions, Dynamique TomTom and GT, and with a range of diesel and petrol engines. The petrol range of the 2011 Renault Megane CC includes a 1.4 TCe 130 hp, a 2.0 TCe 180 hp and a 2.0 CVT 140 hp, while the diesel engines include the 1.5 dCi 110 EDC Auto FAP, the 1.9 dCi 130 and the 2.0 dCi 160.

The equipment list of the 2011 Renault Megane CC offers 17” alloys, Bluetooth, panoramic electric glass folding roof, fixed glass wind deflector,

hands free keycard and fully integrated Carminat TomTom satellite navigation.

If you choose the petrol version, which in our opinion is the choice to make for a convertible, the 2011 Renault Megane CC UK price starts at 21,595 GBP. If however, you don't mind the extra noise of the diesel engine when the roof is down, the 2011 Renault Megane CC UK price starts at 23,595 GBP.

-GT Line option pack available on lower-powered engines with GT interior and exterior styling for £1,290 Following the recent launch of its new GT models, Renault is now completing the New Megane family by confirming UK pricing and specification for the Coupe-Cabriolet, the stylish finale to the range.

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the svelte new drop-top comes in a choice of two trim levels, Dynamique TomTom and GT, priced from £21,595.

The elegant new model is available with a comprehensive range of six engine and transmission combinations, two of which are reserved solely for the flagship GT versions. Among the additions are the new EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic transmission, available exclusively with the 1.5 dCi 110 engine, which, at 130 grams per kilometre, gives the lowest emissions of any automatic versions in its class with a folding hard-top. Also debuting in the four-seater is the responsive, yet frugal 1.4 TCe (Turbo Control efficiency) 130 engine.

The third petrol engine in the line-up is the 2.0 CVT 140, while the Dynamique TomTom powertrain options end with the 1.9 dCi 130.

The two-version GT range is exclusively offered with the potent two-litre TCe 180 petrol engine or the high-torque, two-litre dCi 160 diesel powerplant.

In keeping with the car’s style, Megane Coupe-Cabriolet comes with a high level of specification, including an electric panoramic folding glass roof as standard, to give the feeling of freedom whether the top is up, or down.

Core equipment on the four Dynamique TomTom versions includes 17” alloys, 4x15W radio CD with Bluetooth and AUX input, air conditioning, automatic headlights and wipers, panoramic glass folding roof, cruise control, fixed glass wind deflector, hands free keycard, speed limiter and fully integrated Carminat TomTom satellite navigation.

Upgrading to the sporty new GT gives greater on road presence through a series of interior and exterior styling enhancements. On the outside, the top-of-the-range versions are immediately distinguishable through their bespoke sport front bumper with revised central air intake and gloss black detailing, and rear bumper with aerodynamic diffuser.

They also benefit from a dark chrome surround for the windscreen frame and waistline, with matching door mirrors, door handles and front fog lights. Rounding off the stylish accoutrements are 18” alloy wheels and headlights with black surrounds.

The flagship model’s sport theme continues on the inside with ‘GT’ sports seats, aluminium-faced pedals, an analogue rev-counter and polished carbon interior door pull handles, outer air-vents and dashboard trim including GT badging. GT versions also boast rear parking sensors and electric folding door mirrors.

Optional equipment includes metallic paint (£405, including Malta Blue for GT versions), Dual Zone climate control (£410), heated front seats (£305), leather upholstery (£920), bi-xenon headlamps (£665), Carminat TomTom satellite navigation (£460), Arkamys 3D Sound radio with multifunctional TunePoint (£360) and removable wind deflector (£150).

The new GT Line pack recently announced across the rest of the Megane range is also available on the Dynamique TomTom versions of Coupe-Cabriolet for £1,290. This includes specific 17” alloy wheels, electric folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors, and front and rear sport bumpers. The interior also benefits from the same enhancements as the GT models, with GT Line badging.
