The 2012 Renault Megane RS's price list for the UK market has been confirmed today, as the updated version of the hot hatch is going on sale. The 2012 Megane Renaultsport will be available in the United Kingdom in two versions: the 265 Cup and the 265. Both are powered by the same 250hp/340Nm engine, which, when set on Sport mode, develops a maximum of 265hp/360Nm. The 2012 Renault Megane RS UK price list starts at £24,825 GBP for the 265 Cup and at £26,025 GBP for the 265 (on-the-road). Both models will go on sale this April.
Renault will offer the 2012 Megane RS with an optional Red Design Pack, which will cost you an extra £350 GBP. It includes a rear diffuser, side protection moldings and "go-faster" stripes.
The rear parking camera and sensors are available for an extra £360 GBP while Renault's Visio System will cost you £300 GBP. The Visio system includes a lane departure warning system and auto high/low beam.
The Cup Chassis Pack is priced at £1,350 GBP and it includes 18-inch alloys, Michelin Sport 2 tires, grooved brake discs, limited slip differential, red brake calipers, stiffer springs/dampers/anti-roll bars.
