Recently, a hardcore 300 hp Renault Megane RS has been spied doing rounds on the Nurburgring. According to the UK press, the new 300 hp Renault Megane RS will be powered by a 2.0liter engine and will probably go against the Focus RS and the next Astra VXR. As seen in some spy images, the 300 hp Renault Megane RS will feature a new aerodynamics package with a new front spoiler, new side skirts, wider fenders and a rear diffuser. The central exhaust pipes will also be there.
The new hardcore 300 hp Renault Megane RS might also get a stiffer suspension and better brakes. The guys caught driving the 300 hp Megane RS it seem to sit in new sport bucket seats. Maybe the car even went through a weight saving program,
but this is pure speculation at the moment.
The hotter 300 hp Renault Megane RS is being developed under the supervision of British engineer Steve Marvin which has quite an experience in making hot hatches.
