RS Tuning, a UK based aftermarket specialist, launched today a Stage 2 upgrade program for the Renault Megane RS 250. The RS Tuning Renault Megane RS 250 is powered by the factory 2.0-litre turbo engine, which outputs 70 hp and 148 Nm of torque more. Thanks to a Forge Motorsport high flow intercooler, a Milltek stainless steel performance exhaust system and an ECU re-map, the RS Megane 250 develops 320 bhp at 5500 rpm and 360 lb.ft (488 Nm) of torque at 3250 rpm. The RS Tuning Megane 250 can use 240 lb.ft (350 Nm) of its torque from 2500 rpm to 6250 rpm. RS Tuning also offers the choice between a sports catalyst or cat bypass pipe for the F4Rt engine of the Megane 250.
RS Tuning says that their Stage 2 Renault Megane RS 250 is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in
6.1 seconds and that it has a top speed of around 165 mph. The RS Stage 2 power kit for the Megane 250 is priced at £2199.00 GBP (cat bypass version. track use only) or £2499.00 GBP (street legal sports catalyst model).
