The Dutch aftermarket specialists from E-Motions have revealed their Renault Megane RS upgrade program which puts the French hot hatch right in the same spot as the Focus RS. Kerkhof&Visscher have raised the power output of the E-Motions Renault Megane RS by 60 hp for a total of 310 hp. they didn't stop here. They also reduced the weight of the E-Motions Renault Megane RS by 40 kg.
To get the extra power, the 2.0-liter engine of the E-Motions Renault Megane RS has received a new intercooler and a re-mapped ECU. To managed the extra juice, the E-Motions Renault Megane RS is fitted with Brembo brakes, similar to the one on the Megane Trophy car, and new OZ light alloy rims.
They don't stop even here. Apparently, they are working on a version of the E-Motions Renault Megane RS that's going to be 150 kg lighter than the standard car. To accomplish that, they plan to remove the rear seats. We strongly advise against that because it will severely destabilize the car.
