The company has announced the full 2011 Saleen S302 specs and the fact that the new model will be unveiled at the Carlisle Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA, this weekend. The 2011 Saleen S302 is based on the Ford Mustang 5.0 and comes with the same engine. However, the power output of the 2011 Saleen S302 is rated at 425 hp and 395 lb.-ft. of torque. The car is fitted with a six-speed manual transmission that sends all the horsepowers to the rear wheels. The 2011 Saleen S302 is also equipped with a limited-slip differential with a 3.73:1 final drive ratio.
The interior of the 2011 Saleen S302 features leather sport seats with Ultrasuede inserts and chevron-like Ultrasuede red tabs in the seatback bolsters.
