The good news is that the Saleen S281 Convertible will be unveiled on Sunday at the 25th Annual Fabulous Fords Forever!, hosted at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California.
The Saleen S281 Convertible is based on the 2010 Ford Mustang and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine that develops 485 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. The Saleen S281 Convertible is equipped with a Saleen Series VI.5 twin-screw supercharger and dual-stage intercooler. The power of the Saleen S281 Convertible is sent to the rear wheels via a short-throw, five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 final drive ratio.
