The first images of the 2011 Saleen S302 have been released today, together with the complete specifications of the new model. The 2011 Saleen S302 is based on the Ford Mustang 5.0 and is powered by the same 302 cid (5.0L) 4-valve Ti-VCT V8 engine which develops 425 hp at 6,500 rpm and 395 lb.-ft. torque at 4,250 rpm. The engine of the 2011 Saleen S302 is coupled with a 6-speed, manual transmission and the car comes with a limited slip diff, a performance air filter and a new exhaust. The exact performance figures, in terms of top speed and 0 to 60 mph acceleration time, of the 2011 Saleen S302 have not been released yet.

The 2011 Saleen S302 also comes with a completely new suspension system, 4-wheel vented disc brakes

with ABS and traction control, 20 inch rims with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires and extensive interior upgrades.

The exterior of the 2011 Saleen S302 features a new aerodynamics package which includes a new hood, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler.

The 2011 Saleen S302 price will be announced at a later date as the new model goes on sale this summer.
