Toyota has announced today the 2011 Scion tC price for the North American market. The new 2011 Scion tC coupe is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine developing 180 hp and 11 lbs.-ft of torque. The new engine of the 2011 Scion tC has 19 hp and 11 lbs.-ft of torque more than the previous one and benefits from Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) technology. Apart from this, the 2011 Scion tC also features a Variable-induction Intake Manifold System which can offer more torque when needed.
The new version of the coupe was developed to appeal more to the younger generation, so the 2011 Scion tC price was set at such a level to make it more affordable. apart from the price, the company has also managed to lower the fuel consumption of the new version.
The 2011 Scion tC price list starts at 18,275 USD for the manual gearbox model and goes up to 19,275 USD for the automatic.
