While on our daily tour of YouTube, we came across this video showing a Subaru STI going against a Scion tC in a drifting race. The drifting event took place at Wallspeed Way, NJ, this year and involved Tanner Foust, at the wheel of his Scion tC, obviously. He was racing drifter Stephan Verdier in his Subaru STI. As soon as they started the race, the Subaru STI took the lead but in one of the earlier turns, one of its wheels came off. On one hand, you could say Tanner raced the guy in the Subaru STI until his wheels came off, but on the other hand he was in the lead and the Scion did not seem to get anywhere near the STI. Tanner's reaction immediately after he exited his Scion is curious, to say the least.
