During filming of one of the episodes of the popular British TV show Fifth Gear, Tiff Needell and John Barrowman, who was driving, were involved in a serious crash. The crash took place at 80 mph when driver John Barrowman lost control of a 120,000 GBP Subaru Impreza STI, rolled over four times and nearly went into a lake. Barrowman, who plays Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood, and presenter Tiff Needell were pulled out of the wreck by medics who had to take out glass debris from the drivers eye.
Both men left the car with only cuts and bruises and they did not have serious injuries.
We're wondering if Fifth Gear will include 5this event in one of its episodes. Such a crash that did not result in serious injury does not happen very often.
