Audi has released the first 2012 Audi A6 teaser video and announced that it will start revealing more about the new generation of the luxury saloon from December 1st, 2010. The public debut of the 2012 Audi A6 is expected to take place in January, 2011, at the Detroit auto show in the USA, with the new version going on sale later on. The 2012 Audi A6 will offer the choice of the well known, and popular, 3.0 TDI engine with power outputs between 200 and 300 hp. For the petrol oriented customers, the 2012 Audi A6 will offer the 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter TFSI engine.
Some speculate that audi will also build, for the Chinese market, the long wheelbase version of the 2012 A6, in the form of the A6L.
