Alongside the regular version of the Twingo, Renault also revealed today in Frankfurt the high performance version of the model, the 2012 Renaultsport 133. The 2012 Twingo Renaultsport 133 comes with a distinctive front fascia, new rims and a more powerful engine. If you though the previous version of the Twingo RS was a pretty fun car to drive, we're glad to tell you that the 2012 model year promises to be just as good. Renault however, did not disclose the engine specifications and performance figures of the 2012 Renault Twingo RS.
In terms of styling, Renault's 2012 Twingo RS comes with a yellow exterior finish, a new front grille with integrated fog lights, and an F1-style front blade integrated into the bumper.
The 2012 Renault Twingo RS sits on a new set of 16-inch alloys and features two air vents integrated into the rear wheel arches, for cooling the brakes. The new Twingo RS also comes with a rear roof spoiler.
At the interior, the 2012 Renault Twingo RS comes with yellow stitching on the steering wheel and seats, a Gloss Black rev-counter, and an optional Renaultsport Monitor onboard telemetry system.
