Renault announced today the UK price list for the updated 2012 Twingo model range. The new Twingo will go on sale on the British market in February 2012, but the car is already available for test drives. Renault also announced today that the 2012 Renault Twingo RS (the Renaultsport 133 'halo model') will be launched in the UK in April this year. The 2012 Renault Twingo comes with updated interior and exterior styling, and a new 1.2-liter 16V engine with an output of 75 hp. In terms of design, the 2012 Twingo features a new front fascia, a re-styled tailgate and new taillights. Renault says that the 1.2 16V engine offers plenty of performance, if you take into account the fact that the 2012 Twingo is basically a city car.
In terms of efficient, the 2012 Twingo is rated with a 55.4 mpg fuel economy in the combined cycle and with a 119g/km CO2 emissions level.
The 2012 Renault Twingo UK price list starts at £10,350 GBP on-the-road. The 2012 Twingo is eligible for the Renault 4+ programme, which includes a four-year/100,000 mile warranty, free routine servicing for four years/48,000 miles, four years roadside cover and up to four years finance (lease or PCP, subject to status). The Renault 4+ will cost you an extra £900 GBP.
The new Twingo comes as standard with all the equipment you would expect from a car in its segment. As an optional extra, Renault is offering an iPod-compatible radio, which is priced at £235 GBP. This radio enables you to use the GPS navigation through an app developed by Renault.
