The new generation 2013 Toyota RAV4 had its world debut today during the opening of the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Toyota new RAV4 (2013) measures 179.9 inches in length, 72.6 inches in width, and 65.4 inches in height. It has a 6.3-inch ground clearance, a 104.7-inch wheelbase and it weighs 1,500 lbs. Toy power the new 2013 RAV4 Toyota uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 176 hp at 6,000 rpm and 172 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,100 rpm. The new SUV comes with a 6-speed ECT-i transmission and it's going to be available with front-wheel-drive or with an all-wheel-drive system. Toyota says that the FWD version of the 2013 RAV4 has a fuel economy of 24 mpg city/31 highway, while the AWD model offers 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway.

Toyota equips the new RAV4 (2013) with an ECO driving mode which increases the efficiency of the SUV.

The 2013 Toyota RAV4 comes equipped with a MacPherson strut front suspension, a double-wishbone rear suspension, Dynamic Torque Control on the AWD model, and a Vehicle Stability Control system.

For the interior of the 2013 RAV4, Toyota is offering Clear Blue illumination for the dash panel and gauges, a leather steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 60/40 split/fold second-row of seats. Privacy glass,



Daytime Running Lights (DRL), cruise control, power side mirrors, power door locks and power windows are standard on the 2013 RAV4.

Toyota will sell the new RAV4 (2013) equipped with a 6.1-inch LCD touchscreen, GPS Navigation and Entune, and a 576-Watt JBL GreenEdge sound system. For increased safety, the 2013 Toyota RAV4 is equipped with a Blind Spot Monitor system (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and eight airbags.
