Toyota is going to present three customized Avalons at the 2012 SEMA show, which is going to take place in Las Vegas at the end of this month. DUB Magazine will present their version of the 2013 Toyota Avalon, which has been transformed into a "sharp urban ride". Based on the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 version of the 2013 Avalon, with a 6-speed automatic transmission, DUB Magazine's ride comes with 22-inch alloys, a lowered suspension and a JBL sound system. DUB Magazine's Avalon (2013) also features a bespoke body kit, tinted taillights and windows, and de-chromed trim parts. Toyota Racing Development's 2013 Avalon is based on the same version of the sedan, but it features a supercharger incorporating an Eaton Gen 6 TVS rotor assembly. Unfortunately, TRD did not disclose its output.

The TRD Avalon comes with an upgraded suspension, bigger brakes, and modified steering assist, damping and hysteresis characteristics. At the interior, TRD's 2013 Avalon features a JBL GreenEdge surround sound system with 15 speakers and two JBL 500W GTI D-class amplifiers mounted in the trunk.

Toyota is also going to present at SEMA a customized version of the 2013 Avalon Hybrid. The hybrid Avalon (2013) comes with the same lowered suspension and brakes as the TRD one, various exterior styling mods, and a JBL GreenEdge sound system.
