Toyota Tundra Monster Trucks at SEMA 2014

Toyota took the 2014 SEMA show by storm with two monster trucks based on the latest version of the Tundra. The Toyota Tundra "Hiring Our Heroes" monster truck is based on the 2014 Double Cab SR5 version of the pickup. It was developed to honor America's veterans. Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Dakota Meyer (USMC) worked with Steve Zion and Toyota of Wallingford to bring this monster truck to life. It features a modified frame to accommodate the four-link suspension, King nitrogen front and rear shock absorbers, a TRD supercharged 5.7-liter V8 engine with 580 hp, a 6.72:1 axle ratio, a Pro Fab drop box, 66x43x 25 inch tires with SWR wheels, 20-ton Clark planetaries, a fully hydraulic front steering through Eaton orbital valves, and quick-ratio electrohydraulic rear steering.

The Tonka Tundra monster truck is dedicated to all emergency responders. It comes with a bright red, yellow and black livery, LED light bars and stylized "Emergency Rescue" logos. The equipment list of this Toyota Tundra monster trucks includes:
