Honda revealed at the end of last week the new generation 2014 Jazz, which is called the Fit on some markets. The 2014 Honda Jazz / Fit comes with a completely new exterior and interior design. At the front, the new Honda Jazz (2014) comes with newly designed headlights, a more aggressive and sportier looking front grille, and a new bumper with integrated LED DRLs and fog lights. The rear of the new 2014 Jazz / Fit shows brand new tail lights, a modified rear bumper and a roof spoiler on the high-performance RS version. For the interior of the 2014 Jazz / Fit, Honda is offering higher quality materials, and a folding rear bench. The 2014 Honda Jazz / Fit models range introduces a new hybrid version. The 2014 Jazz Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine.

The new Hybrid Jazz (2014) is fitted with the SPORT HYBRID i-DCD powertrain, that includes a 7-speed DCT transmission, with a built-in electric motor, and an IPU (intelligent power unit), which includes the lithium-ion battery. The new 2014 Honda / Fit Hybrid is also fitted with regenerative braking, and a fully-electric compressor. Honda says that the new 2014 Jazz Hybrid is 35% more efficient than the current version of the model. They say it can offer a fuel economy of up to 2.74 l / 100 km. Honda equips the 2014 Jazz Hybrid with the SPORT HYBRID Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive (i-DCD). This system was developed especially for small cars.

The 2014 Jazz offers three driving modes: EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive. The price and availability of the 2014 Honda Jazz / Fit are going to be announced at a later date.
