Mazda revealed today the new generation 2014 Mazda3, which is going to be available in two body styles: sedan and hatchback. Both versions of the new Mazda3 (2014) come with the carmaker's complete range of SKYACTIV technologies packed in their well-known KODO Soul of Motion exterior design. In comparison to the previous version, the 2014 Mazda3 is longer and wider. It has a longer wheelbase, shorter overhangs, and an improved built quality. It comes with sleeker headlights, LED daytime running lights. The new Mazda3 is going to be sold with a choice between nine exterior colors and with 16- or 18-inch alloys. The new Mazda3 (2014) promises a more generous interior than its predecessor, which is built with higher quality materials. Mazda says that the new interior is more driver-focused and more ergonomic.

The 2014 MAzda3 is going to be available with a choice between 2 petrol engines and a diesel one. The 2014 Mazda3 SKYACTIV-G 1.5 develops 74kW / 100PS at 6,000rpm and 150Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The SKYACTIV-G 2.0 will be available with two power output levels: 88kW / 120PS at 6,000rpm with 210Nm at 4,000rpm and 121kW / 165PS at 6,000rpm with 210Nm at 4,000rpm. The diesel version of the 2014 Mazda3 is powered by the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 engine, which has an output of 110kW / 150PS at 4,500rpm and 380Nm of torque at 1,800rpm.
