Mazda3 Hybrid

The Mazda3 Hybrid had its world debut last weekend, and it's currently scheduled to go on sale in Japan. Mazda is expected to put the hybrid version of the Mazda3 on other markets too. The Mazda3 Hybrid is powered by the new SKYACTIV-HYBRID powertrain, which includes a SKYACTIV-G 2.0 engine, which has been developed exclusively for this model. The hybrid Mazda3 is equipped with an electric motor too. Equipped with a continuously variable electronic transmission, the Mazda3 Hybrid is expected to offer a fuel economy of up to 30.8 km per liter (3.2 liters / 100 km). Unfortunately, Mazda did not disclose any other details about the hybrid version of the Mazda3. We'll have to wait a bit longer to find out about its performance figures (top speed and 0-100 km/h acceleration time) and its power output numbers.

We'll have more details regarding the Mazda3 Hybrid as soon as they're available.
