Future Mazda3 Kodo

 »  »  »

Recently, the Japanese carmaker has unveiled its new design language, called Kodo and meaning "Soul of Motion". Mazda's new Kodo design language was premiered through the new Shinari concept. The company has released the first video of the Shinari concept and together with it, the future Mazda3. As a design exercise, the company has also released a new video which shows how would the future Mazda3 look like, if it will get the new Kodo design language.

The future Mazda3 with Kodo design looks like a completely new car, much more refined than the current model and a lot more elegant. The company says they shot this clip of the Mazda3 Kodo with the help of a clay model on which they projected various colors.

The company says this could also be the future Mazda2. Although the company says this is just a "what if" kind of exercise, they already have a clay model of the Mazda3 designed Kodo Style. Why not make it the concept for the future version of the car?
