Range Rover released this week the first teaser image of the 2014 Sport model, which is going to have its world debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show, on March 26. Land Rover says that the 2014 Range Rover Sport is going to be the fastest, the most responsive and the most agile vehicle they have ever built. Unfortunately, Land Rover did not disclose any details regarding the new Range Rover Sport (2014), which is their third model launched in the last two years. John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director, says that the new Range Rover Sport (2014) takes the model to a whole new level. The new version of the SUV is expected to be around 300 kg lighter than its predecessor. This of means it's going to be a lot more efficient too.
Most likely, the 2014 Range Rover Sport is going to offer the same range of engines as its bigger brother. These include a 3.0-liter LR-TDV6 diesel with 255 hp and 600 Nm of torque, a 4.4-liter LR-SDV8 with 335 hp and 700 Nm, a 5.0-liter LR-V8 developing 375 hp and 510 Nm and the top of the range supercharged LR-V8 with 504 hp and 625 Nm.
