The new generation 2015 Mini Cooper JCW had its world debut this week, bringing along a new interior and exterior design, as well as a modified engine. The new Mini Cooper JCW (2015) is powered by a 2.0-liter engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology (turbocharging, direct injection, fully variable valve control, variable camshaft control). The 2015 Mini John Cooper Works develops 170 kW/231 hp between 5,200 rpm and 6,000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,250 rpm and 4,800 rpm. With this powertrain, the new Mini John Cooper Works (2015) is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.3 seconds (automatic: 6.1 seconds). Its top speed is rated at 246 km/h. In terms of efficiency, according to its official specs, the 2015 Mini Cooper JCW has a 6.7 litres (5.7 litres)/100 kilometers fuel economy and a 155 g/km (133 g/km) CO2 emissions level.

The Mini is offering the 2015 John Cooper Works with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed Steptronic sports gearbox.

The 2015 Mini Cooper JCW's equipment list includes a Head-Up Display, LED interior ambient lighting, a Harman Kardon hi-fi speaker system, and all the gadgets and gizmos you can think of. Its safety systems include, among others, Park Distance Control, Driving Assistant, high beam assistant and road sign detection.
