Mini Porsche Race Challenge Winner

 »  »  »

Just when you though the Mini Porsche Race Challenge will never happen, Mini USA has just announced it lost the battle. Apparently, the race took place and involved a Mini Cooper S and as Porsche 911 Carrera S. The Mini was driven by Brad Davis while Cory Friedman was at the wheel of the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The Porsche did not just win, it finished 2 seconds ahead of the Mini... on a course designed by Mini to maximize its advantages. After the race, the video says Porsche won by 2 seconds, which is 38,000 USD per second. They want to hint at the price difference between the two cars.

We just want to point out to Mini USA that, in any race series on this planet, if you manage to gain 1 second by spending just 38,000 USD, you're doing an incredible job.

Watch the Mini Porsche Race Challenge and interviews with both of the drivers after the jump.
