Volkswagen announced today the pricing for the new 2015 Touareg facelift, which will go on sale tomorrow. The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg comes with an updated front fascia, including new headlights, re-styled fog lights and a modified front bumper. There are various interior design updates too. The first deliveries of the 2015 VW Touareg will commence this November. Volkswagen is going to sell the 2015 Touareg with a 3.0-litre TDI diesel engine and an 8-speed automatic. The engine is going to be available in two horsepower output levels: 204 PS and 262 PS. The new Touareg is going to be available in three trim levels (SE, Escape and R-Line) and an advanced 4XMOTION off-road four-wheel drive system.
The 4XMOTION system offers 50:50 torque split and center and rear axle mechanical differential locks.
The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg's equipment list includes a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system using AdBlue, low-rolling resistance tires and a coasting function, bi-xenon headlights, front seats with lumbar support, wood trim parts, Nappa leather upholstery and an automatic post-collision braking system.
VW's 2015 Touareg is also equipped with 19-inch alloys, RNS 850 satellite navigation with eight-inch touchscreen, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, 2Zone climate control, parking sensors and chrome roof rails. The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg Escape is also fitted with a higher off-road suspension, a 100-litre fuel tank, underbody protection and a headlight cleaning system. In addition, the top-of-the-range R-Line Touareg (2015) comes with a lowered sports suspension, LED DRLs, a panoramic glass sunroof and aluminum pedals.
The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg's price starts at 43,000 GBP OTR and it goes up to 47,500 GBP OTR.
