Volkswagen revealed at the end of last week the new Touareg Edition X, which is meant to celebrate the SUV's 10th anniversary. The Volkswagen Touareg Edition X comes as standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, a Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect exterior finish, and LED DRLs. VW's Edition X Touareg also features panoramic slide/tilt sunroof, silver anodized roof rails, bi-xenon headlights and darkened rear lights. Volkswagen is going to sell the Touareg Edition X with the Chrome & Style designer pack, tinted windows, and various badges. For the interior of the Touareg Edition X, Volkswagen is offering a Nappa leather upholstery, ebony accents for the doors and the instrument panel, and the all-important illuminated front door sills.
The Touareg Edition X can be ordered with various engines and transmissions, as well as the hybrid powertrain. Its price starts at €61,025 for the V6 TDI BlueMotion, which develops 204 PS and it comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
