Bentley introduced this week the new 2016 Continental GT Speed, alongside a new Black Edition of the high-performance, luxury coupe. The 2016 Bentley Continental GT Speed is the fastest model the carmaker has ever produced. It is powered by the 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine, which puts out 642 PS and 840 Nm of torque from 2,000-5,000 rpm. In comparison to its predecessor, the 2016 Continental GT Speed comes with 7 PS and 20 Nm of torque more. The new 2016 Continental GT Speed comes with e recalibrated boost control, for even better acceleration. In terms of performance, the 2016 Continental GT Speed is able to rocket from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds) and it can reach a top speed of 206 mph (331 km/h).
The 2016 Bentley Continental GT Speed Black Edition is available for both the coupe and the convertible versions of the model. This package includes a high gloss black finish for the exterior trim parts, black 21-inch alloys, and distinctive brake calipers finished in black or red. The front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser of the Black Edition come in contrasting colors (Hallmark, Beluga, St James Red and Cyber Yellow).
