Bentley released the first details on the facelifted Continental GT and on the higher spec Bentley Continental GT Speed.

The new Bentley Continental GT gets a new grille and a new air intake which feeds a twin turbo W12 engine. The twin-turbo W12 engine has new camshafts, new crankcase, new catalysts, a new exhaust and e new ECU. With all those engine upgrades there is no power upgrade for the regular Continental GT though. There is only a less than obvious drop in emissions, from 410 g/km to 396 g/km. The power output for the new Continental GT is 552 hp.

Bentley says that the new Continental GT has the biggest brake discs on any production car:

405 mm at the front and 335 mm at the back.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed is 35kg lighter than the Continental GT thanks to lighter aluminum suspension and lighter cooling components. Bentley also says it's got improved steering.
