The German tuner ABT Sportsline has unveiled the ABT Audi AS5-R which was announced a few weeks ago. The power of the ABT Audi AS5-R has been increased by 156 HP (115 kW) to 510 hp (375 kW) with the help of a re-programmed ECU and a new compressor. The extra power helps the ABT Audi AS5-R get from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and up to a maximum speed of 292 km/h.
The increased acceleration and top speed comes with the need for better sopping power. The ABT Audi AS5-R is equipped with larger 380 millimeter brake discs and a new coilover suspension.
The design of the ABT Audi AS5-R has been upgraded with the addition of a new front apron, fender insets and air vents accents. The ABT Audi AS5-R sits on 20" wheels and comes with a new 4-pipe rear silencer.
The ABT Audi AS5-R price has not been announced yet.
