Fiat announced today the price of the Abarth 695 Maserati, which is a special edition model, based on the Fiat 500C. The Abarth 695 Maserati features exclusive styling details and a power upgrade which, as you can imagine, drive its price pretty high. The Abarth 695 Maserati is powered by the 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16v engine, which is tuned to output 180bhp (132 kW) at 5500rpm and 250 Nm of torque (in sport mode) at 3000rpm. Fiat equipped the Abarth 695 Maserati with a Garrett 1446 turbo and a Competizione electrically-operated manual transmission. To be able to manage the extra power, the Abarth 695 Maserati has to be equipped with Brembo monobloc brake calipers with floating 305mm discs, and Koni shock absorbers. For a more spirited soundtrack, they also fitted the small open-top with variable backpressure dual mode exhaust system.
The Abarth 695 is finished in Pontevecchio Bordeaux, which is a color developed by Maserati. The interior features a matt-finish carbon lining on the dashboard and gearbox, as well as various 695 logos and badges. The instrument panel is developed by Jaeger.
The Abarth 695 Maserati price starts at £32,000 (OTR) and only 499 units will be made. The car goes on sale at the end of the year.
