The new 2013 Fiat 500c Abarth is going to have its world debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show, coming with a more powerful engine and a few other updates. Fiat's 2013 500c Abarth is powered by the same twin-intercooled 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo engine, which develops 160 hp and 170 lb.-ft. (230 Nm) of torque. This is 20 hp and 25 Nm of torque more than the previous version of the hot mini. The new 500C Abarth is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. With the new found power, the new Abarth 500C (2013) is able to get from zero to 60 mph in 7 seconds. The 2013 Abarth 500C is equipped with a fabric soft-top that can be electronically retracted at speeds of up to 60 mph. If you want to fully retract it you can do so at up to 50 mph, by pushing the same button.

For better track performance, Fiat equips the 2013 500C Abarth with a MacPherson suspension, with a lower ride height, cast-iron front lower control arms, dual-valve frequency selective damping (FSD) KONI twin-tube struts and a rear stabilizer bar. The equipment list of the 2013 Abarth 500C includes electronic power steering (EPS), performance brakes, ESC, a torque transfer control (TTC) system, and Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires.

The 2013 Fiat 500c Abarth's price has not been announced yet. All the details and specifications of the new Abarth 500c are available here.
