The latest rumors from Italy say that Abarth, the house tuner from Fiat, is preparing two new hardcore versions of the 500C and Punto Evo called Esseesse. The Abarth Fiat 500C Esseesse will be powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with a power output of 157bhp - the same unit as the one on the coupe. The power of the Abarth Fiat 500C Esseesse will be sent to the front wheels via a five-speed MTA automatic gearbox with faster shifting times. Other enhancements brought by the Abarth Fiat 500C Esseesse may include a new aerodynamics package, a stripped out interior and probably better brakes and a stiffer suspension. The Abarth Fiat 500C Esseesse price is expected to start at around the 20,000 GBP mark.
The Abarth Fiat Punto Evo Esseesse will be powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged Multiair engine developing more than 180 hp. The Abarth Fiat Punto Evo Esseesse will also have better brakes and a stiffer suspension. The aerodynamics of the Abarth Fiat Punto Evo Esseesse may be improved with updated body panels while the interior may also suffer some modifications. The Abarth Fiat Punto Evo Esseesse price is expected to jump over the 19,000 GBP.
The Abarth Fiat 500C and Punto Evo Esseesse are expected to hit the showroom floor around November
