In their latest video, the journalists from AutoExpress set up a rather uneven comparison test - the performance oriented Fiat 500C Abarth against the economy oriented Fiat 500C TwinAir. The Fiat 500C Abarth is powered by a 1.4-liter 16v Turbo T-Jet engine developing 140 HP (103 kW) at 5000 rpm and 206 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. The officially rated fuel consumption of the Fiat 500C Abarth is 6.5 l/100 km and the CO2 emissions level is at 155 g/km. With those numbers, the Fiat 500C Abarth is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and up to a top speed of 205 km/h.

On the other hand, the new Fiat 500C TwinAir is powered by a 875cc two-cylinder engine that's good for 85bhp.

Of course, you should expect the same levels of performance, however, you will get more efficiency. The Fiat 500C TwinAir is rated at a 95g/km of CO2 emissions level.
