Audi and Auto Bild initiated a efficiency competition which involves 11 white Audi A4 2.0 TDI models and a 1,650 kilometers (1,025.26 miles) race. On June 23 the 11 white Audi A4 2.0 TDI models entered the efficiency competition with the goal of completing the race with a an average fuel consumption of under 4 liters per 100 km (over 58.80 US mpg).
The Audi A4 2.0 TDI outputs 88 kW (120 hp) and offers a combined fuel economy of 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers (46.12 US mpg) with a 134 g/km CO2 emissions level.
To be able to achieve the fuel consumption necessary to win the Audi A4 2.0 TDI models have been fitted with additional fuel consumption
gauges are installed in the vehicles so that drivers can see the current fuel status at any time.
