Audi has released recently the first image of the Audi R15 TDI race car that will debut at the at Sebring opener on March 21st. The 12-hour race in Florida is a test for the Audi R15 TDI ahead of the Le Mans race.
The company did not release a lot of technical details of the new Audi R15 TDI, but says it did well in tests. The company also stated the Audi R15 TDI differs significantly from the R10 TDI which was undefeated at Le Mans.
The Audi R15 TDI prototypes will be driven by Dindo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish and Lucas Luhr, Mike Rockenfeller and Marco Werner.
