Bentley Flying Spur V8S: Specs, Equipment

Bentley revealed today the new Continental Flying Spur V8S, which is going to have its world debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next month. In case you're not looking for the massive W12 version of the Continental Flying Spur, the V8S might be just the choice for you. According to Bentley's official specs, the four-door Flying Spur V8S is powered by the 4.0-liter V8 engine, which puts out 528 PS (521 bhp / 388 kW) and 680 Nm of torque from 1,700 rpm. The specifications say that this engine is capable of taking the Flying Spur V8S from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds. The 60 mph mark comes in 4.6 seconds. The top speed is rated at 190 mph (306 km/h).

In terms of efficiency, Bentley's specs claim that the Flying Spur V8S offers a fuel consumption of 10.9 L/100km (25.9 mpg), which gives it a maximum range of 837 km (520 miles). Its CO2 emissions are rated at 254 g/km.

Apart from the extra power, the Bentley Flying Spur V8S also comes with recalibrated engine and transmission and better throttle response. Are modifications have been made to make sure the Flying Spur V8S is more fun to drive.

The equipment list of the Bentley Flying Spur V8S includes a black grille, Beluga gloss rear diffuser, new 20- or 21-inch wheels, and darkened headlights and rear lights. At the interior, the luxury sedan features piano black wood veneers and various sporty trim parts.
