The 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur has been revealed today, ahead of its motor show debut in Geneva next month. For the 2014 Continental Flying Spur, Bentley chose a completely redesigned rear end, and updated interior and an upgraded engine. The 2014 Flying Spur measures 5295 mm / 208.5 in in length, 1976 mm / 77.8 in in width, 1488 mm / 58.6 in in height and it has a 3065 mm / 120.7 in. It has a luggage capacity of 475 liters / 16.8 cu ft and it weighs 2475 kg / 5451 lb. Even though the new Flying Spur (2014) is quite a large and heavy luxury sedan, it still manages to get from nought to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds, and from zero to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 200 mph / 322 km/h.

The 2014 Continental Flying Spur's performance figures are made possible by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine that spits out 616 bhp / 460 kW / 625 PS at 6000 rpm and 800 Nm / 590 lb.ft of torque at 2000 rpm. The new Continental Flying Spur (2014) comes with an all-wheel-drive system and with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with Quickshift and Block Shifting. Bentley says that the 2014 Flying Spur offers a 19.2 mpg (14.7 liters/100 km) combined fuel economy in the EU cycle and 15 mpg in the USA's combined cycle.



In terms of exterior design, the most obvious changes are visible at the rear of the new Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2014). It has a lower and sharper appearance, with new rear lights and a longer boot and a more swept side profile. The front of the new Flying Spur (2014) shows LED headlights and just a few other minor styling changes. Bentley made a lot of changes for improving the 2014 Continental Flying Spur crash resistance and for offering a better pedestrian protection.

The 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur is going to be available in two configurations: with four and five seats. Most of its interior parts are carried from the previous generation of the model. For the 2014 Continental Flying Spur, Bentley is offering a new connectivity and infotainment system, that has its own Wi-Fi hotspot. The rear passengers have access to separate entertainments system and to a new hand-held Touch Screen Remote. The 2014 Flying Spur is equipped with an 8-channel, 8-speaker 1100W Naim for Bentley premium system with Balanced Mode Radiators. As always, the materials used by Bentley to build the interior of the 2014 Flying Spur are of the highest quality.

Underneath the car, Bentley revised the 2014 Flying Spur's suspension system and ESC to offer better handling and increased comfort.
