Braille Battery revealed at SEMA this year the E85-powered Braille Nissan Altima Hybrid called Hot Rod Hybrid. The Braille Nissan Altima Hybrid is a race car that will be used in the Time Attack Series and the Cannonball Run/One Lap of America race in April 2009.
The Braille Nissan Altima Hybrid is powered by a 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder engine that runs on Ethanol E85 fuel and an electric system. The modifications of the Braille Nissan Altima Hybrid include Vortech electric supercharger and an Electric Drive Braille Battery Carbon Racing Pack.
The Braille Nissan Altima Hybrid outputs an estimated 270 hp at the crank when run on E85 and 240 lb/ft of torque between 0 – 1500 rpm when run on electricity. The Braille Battery powered
“Hot Rod Hybrid” horsepower is 440 hp.
